Two unique features of Wavedancer are her two exit gateways and fast twin diver lift. Buddies can now enter the water via giant stride without risk of landing on top of another diver. Groups can easily jump quickly and safely. Getting back onto the boat is also a dream

Billy will expertly bring the rear of the boat up close. You and your buddy stand on the lift plate and fifteen seconds after you nod ready, you are both up on the boat. With a step and a spin, you are safely seated ready to de-kit.

"With everyone aboard, there's just time for
a hot drink and a biscuit on the journey back"

Wavedancer is a purpose built catamaran and is tremendously stable. She is effortlessly loaded at all tides with the harbour crane. Her wide beam provides a massive dive deck. She has ample space for 12 divers even when replete with twin-set divers, kitting up is very comfortable.

With twenty-five years as a skipper of a fishing vessel in these waters, and the last ten years as a dive boat skipper, you can be confident that Billy knows this patch of the sea.

The best diving in St. Abbs is never more than a short ride away. With a cruising speed of 16 knots, the dive sites are literally minutes from the harbour. Typically, diving parties return to shore for the surface interval while another party ventures out. During the surface interval you can safely store your kit on the boat and simply refill your bottles..

Wavedancer carries all the required mca safety equipment as well as Oxygen. Billy is happy to crack the O2 open without making a drama out of a crisis.
